Board of Directors
Your Board Members!
The Board of Directors are volunteers who provides governance over the AVBA. They were selected on the basis of their personal achievements and for the knowledge and expertise they can provide our organization and our partners. All of our board members are Veterans.
The President and Director, Mr. John Maketa, oversees the organization’s programs and day-to-day activities.
The Board is currently comprised of seven members and serve staggered, two (2) year terms as required by Alaska Veterans Business Alliance Governing Documents. This structure provides the Board with a strong level of operational continuity year-over-year.
