Subcontracting Opportunities in the Federal Government Tuesday, April 28, 2009, 9AM – 11AM University Center, Room 143 Anchorage, Alaska Presented by Marichu Relativo of the Small Business Administration. In this workshop, you will learn the different types of procurement and the rules associated with doing business with the federal government as a subcontractor/supplier. In addition, you will obtain information in how to find subcontracting opportunities by utilizing the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website and the SBA SUB-net website. There will be live demonstration on both sites. Handouts will be provided to include listing of current contracts from the different agencies that have subcontracting opportunities in construction, supplies and services requirements.
