Construction Risk Management Overview

University Center, 3901 Old Seward Hwy, Room 145 Anchorage, Alaska Business Insurance Associates, Inc. will be presenting a Construction Risk Management Overview that will focus on risks and exposures specific to the construction industry, while also touching on some of the broader risks and exposures that face every business owner or project manager. In addition to covering the components of risk management and risk management strategies, other topics discussed will include: (1) risk transfer solutions, including commercial insurance endorsements and subcontractor agreements, (2) financial risks and exposures, including common areas of failure and continuity planning, (3) contractual risks and exposures, including indemnity, warranties and problematic clauses, (4) operational risks and exposures, including failures, and (5) organizational risks and exposures.
This class is beginning to mid-level, and ideal for new or smaller contractors with limited resources, who are interested in acquiring or refining the tools to proactively manage the risk of running their own contracting operations.
